Toma Recovery is me and my lime green truck. When you call the number on this site, I answer, I drive, and I load your car myself.
How I work
Recovery is a moment when people feel stuck and out of control. So I keep it simple: you tell me where you are, I tell you the price and when I'll be there, and that's what happens.
Your car goes on the flatbed. The deck tilts down, the car goes up, the deck levels, and the car is held by ratchet straps over the tyres, not round the bodywork.
I work around Bedford, day and night, every day of the week. I speak English and Romanian, so if Romanian is easier for you, call or write in Romanian.
The truck
A Mercedes-Benz Sprinter flatbed, chequer-plate aluminium deck, ramps and ratchet straps.
The hours
24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The base
North Bedford. In most of Bedford I'm with you in 15 to 20 minutes.
The language
English and Romanian.
How your car travels
On the deck,
not on the rope

The deck tilts, the ramps go down
The back of the flatbed lowers to the road, so the car goes up gently instead of being dragged.

Your car goes up onto the deck
Slowly and in a straight line, at walking pace, all the way up.

The deck levels again
Now all four wheels are off the road, the way most makers want electric and automatic cars moved.

Strapped down at the wheels
Ratchet straps over the tyres, not round the bodywork. Then we go wherever you choose.
